The physical Quality of Life Index is an amazing attempt to measure the quality of life or to measure the well-being of a country. The value measured is the average of three statistics that are basic literacy rate, infant mortality, and life expectancy.

The terms used to calculate the PQLI which are mortality rate, life expectancy, and literacy rate reflect the country’s population’s well-being.
