India-US Agreements The United States and India have shared interests in promoting global security, stability, and economic benefits through trade, and connectivity. The United States is supporting India’s emergence as a leading global power and the country is playing a vital role in efforts to safeguard the Indo-Pacific region. As per the latest reports, US-India bilateral relationships reached a record of $157billion. India also cooperates closely with the United States at multilateral organizations like United Nations, G-20, International Monetary Fund, World Bank, and World Trade Organization. 

India-Russia Agreements After the Soviet Union’s dissolution, Russia maintained a close relationship with India. They term this relationship as a special and privileged strategic partnership. This partnership has been based on five major components which are Politics, Defense, Nuclear Energy, Anti Terrorism, and Space. The Soviet Union has always been an important supplier of defense equipment for many decades. Now Russian Federation is also doing the same thing. The countries have signed the construction of naval frigates, utility helicopters, Brahmos Cruise Missile, Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft, and Multirole Transport Aircraft. 

India-EU Relations India and EU Relations have been based mostly on trading itself. As India is playing an important role in global economic governance, India plays an important trade partner for the EU. The objective of this relationship is to trade relations with India and to work towards a sound, transparent business environment for European companies that are investing in India. 

India-Central Asia Agreements India and Central Asia have a history of historical, political, and economical ties. The two sides had their discussions on economic development, partnerships, energy security, regional issues, and connectivity. Recently, the two sides also discussed global concerns, promoting security and stability. Central Asia is important for the peace and economic development of India. 

So these are the important bilateral agreements between India and other nations. The agreements are made for the betterment of our defense system, and Economical growth, and to maintain stability in the country.
